Hello and welcome!

In the spring of 2020 a friend invited me to do a 21 day meditation challenge. The challenge was ok. Some of the days offered amazing daily challenges that left me charged and ready to "take on the day", others left me drained and less than confident to face the rest of the day. Unfortunately, entering the workday totally demotivated and lacking confidence is not something I can afford at this point in my career. FACT: people don't pay top dollar for advice from an insecure advisor, at $1500 an hour they are looking to meet with a fearless & brilliant strategic leader. I figured I was not the only one who wanted to participate in a challenge that consistently fed me guidance that could hype me up. Every. Single. Day.

 

So I asked a few friends, from the IE Business School alumni network, what they would think of us taking the challenge and modifying it so we could still do a fun 21 day exercise together. They were all on board and more joined as we publicized our goal for the group.  This is NOT an IE owned & operated portal, this page is managed by: Adi Soozin IMBA 2015. Thanks to the support of the following volunteers we transformed the original 21 day challenge into something that people in the cut-throat business world can now participate in, without worrying about "loosing their edge":

 

We call the group "The Best You" because it aims to motivate you daily to be the best version of yourself. In an era when 90% of the population & modern advertising is committed to telling you what you're lacking, we decided to create a space that tells you how much of an incredible demi-god or goddess you are, daily.

How is this different from the 21 day abundance WhatsApp challenges?

Elsa Boustany MIM 2019 & Adi Soozin IMBA 2015 worked over the course of a few weekends to make each daily challenge ideal for a crowd of ambitious career-focused individuals. We took our favorite non-spiritual elements from some of the best personal development resources used today and transformed them into our own version of the 21 day challenge. Day 0 ✅ Welcome Message

 

Good Evening everyone,

 

Most of us are accustomed to a fast paced environment and did not take the time to self-reflect and reconnect with our inner self prior the pandemic. Now is the ideal time for us to stop moving fast and take a step back!

 

We are planning to start with Deepak’s 21 day meditation challenge for greater abundance, because it is published free to multiple places on YouTube & we would like for there to be zero barriers stopping you from joining us.

 

The founders of this group found this challenge to be helpful with learning to balance the voids we can sometimes feel, especially given the global experience we all are walking through together right now.

 

This is what will happen: Over the next 21 days I will post DAILY Deepak Chopra audio meditations with explanations and small assignments. To get the most out of this, buy a new notebook and complete the assignments in this notebook within 24 hours.

 

This meditation is suitable for anyone who wants to draw abundance into a new area of their life: love, relationships, spirituality, recovery, material wealth, health and other areas where we may feel we are struggling or lacking.

 

Here is Deepak’s introduction:

“I invite you to join and receive the best that my program can give: a key to abundance. I will be your personal guide for 21 days, helping you explore your inner world and expand your understanding of what abundance and consciousness mean. During the first week, you will learn what true abundance is, where it comes from, and how consciousness and mind influence it. In the second week, you will discover how abundance relates to the Seven Spiritual Laws of Success. In the last week, I will share with you my secrets on how to start living in abundance right now.” ~ Deepak Chopra

Today is considered Day 0.

Here are the guidelines to get the most out of the meditation challenge:

  1. Complete the small assignments within 24 hours
  2. If you need to write something down as part of the task, you’ll get more out of this if you write it by hand. It is advisable to start a new notebook.
  3. Before you start writing, try to get into a calm state, so consider completing the daily assignment after you listen to the daily Deepak Chopra meditation.
  4. Be fully focused during your daily assignments and allocate sufficient time for each one.

This is not Deepak Chopra’s program, we have heavily amended the daily tasks to meet the goals of our alumni network. To participate in Deepak’s program download his app.

I personally took the time to thank my main source of inspiration and it felt nice acknowledging their positive impact in my life.

I would like to end this day by suggesting to take the time to notice what inspires you and what kind of activities are spontaneously integrated into your routine. By doing so, you will discover what you value most.

 

After careful evaluation, if you notice that this is not the case. Relax. Take a step back. Breath in and out. Now is the right time for you to start organizing your life around your core values. This will be a fulfilling and powerful adventure towards the achievements of your biggest dreams.

 

Remember, living your values will allow you to master your destiny and achieve your goals. Take it one step at a time and start by dedicating a time-slot every day to reflect on where you are in life and how you are getting closer to your goals. This initiative is the first step in shifting your perspective from one of lack to one of abundance.

🌟In your notebook – make a list of your current  position, situation, responsibilities and activities. Include your monthly obligations (taking care of your kids, going to work every day, your facial treatment, etc.). You do not need to enter exactly how much time you’re spending doing it, but I liked writing it out because it put things into perspective. How do the things on this list help you to move closer to your dreams? What small habits can you break or create to align your daily life with your goals?

🌟In your notebook, or a secret Pinterest Board, create your vision board. Create sections to save your dream clothes, dream body, dream house, dream career, dream partner, anything and everything that you secretly desire. The neuroscientific explanation behind why vision boards work, is worth a quick Google search. Look at your vision board one to three times a day for the remainder of this challenge, editing the various sections as your desires evolve.

Henry Cloud, Ray Dalio & Alan Weiss, all wildly successful, were painfully fired and humiliated early in their careers. Everything you desire, you posses the instruments to pursue. Sometimes it takes a bit of study or experience to develop your tools and skills to get what you want…

🌟 Think of 5 times that a horrible experience (a breakup, a huge mistake at work, an accident, etc) lead to a beautiful new beginning.  In your notebook write out the 5 positive things that came out of each of those painful experiences.

🌟 Is there a lesson you can learn from this? If you listen to your inner voice could you achieve beautiful new beginnings without racing harsh breaks? Could you secretly know when it is time to phase out of a friendship or job, but in ignoring your inner voice, cause a harsh experience to be the only way for the universe to move you forward?

Good Morning Everyone!

Do you sometimes feel like you’re wasting your full potential? If so, you’re like any other ambitious person who wants to make the best of his/her life. Although you must have success, do you still think  that you have not created super extraordinary levels of success quite yet? Now is the time to remedy. Start celebrating the fact that you completed 7 full days✅.

 

Welcome to Day 8 –  the Law of Pure Potentially.

🌟 In your notebook write out the following: Through the law of pure potentiality I can create anything, anytime, anywhere.  Everything I invest in myself will come back to me seven- fold.  I release the need to judge people, things & circumstances as completely good, or bad, right or wrong.  Today I will not waste any of my energy on judging people, things and occurrences. I now understand that there is no such thing as scarcity, only people with a scarcity mindset. I will cease to take advice and counsel from people who hold a scarcity mindset

🌟 Next think of desires you’ve been too afraid to share aloud because others programmed you to believe in scarcity. If money was easy to obtain, how would your vision board change? Change your vision boar to reflect this new realization.

🌟On five (or more) recent receipts for items or services that you bought for yourself or your business, write “Everything I invest in myself will come back to me seven- fold.”

✳️From this point on, write this statement on every invoice or receipt.

 

Mahatma Gandhi taught us to remember our thoughts generate words, words generate actions, actions generate habits, habits generate a character, and character breeds destiny.   💫

🌟In your notebook write down 5 things that you are currently anxious about:

🌟 As Chopra says in today’s meditation “The process of giving and receiving is a rich part of nature’s rich abundance… the easiest way to get what you want is to circulate the flow of abundance and help others get what they want.” This teaching is also broken down in more detail in the book Influence.

🌟 Next get clear on what you want. Think of 5 people you can help, who will gratefully circulate the abundance back to help you in turn achieve your desires. Today, extend your offer to help them.

Example 1: Think of 5 people you’ve recently enjoyed working with, leave them each a recommendation on LinkedIn.

Example 2: Adi prioritizes the abundance of time and financial freedom, so her brands MD9, 9apple and AdiPineapple all work to help others also achieve an abundance of time and financial freedom.

Day 10

 

Day 10 ✅ The Law of Karma.

Let’s talk about Karma.  Karma, a Sanskrit word that roughly translates to “action”, is a core concept in some Eastern religions, including Hinduism and Buddhism. Through its specifics are different depending on the religion, karma generally denotes the cycle of cause and effect- each action a person takes will affect him or her at some time in the future.

Good morning!

 

When your actions are motivated by love, your energy is multiplied and accumulated.

Release of this energy allows you to redirect it towards the creation of everything that you want.

When your spirit is your inner point of reference all of the immense power of the universe is at your disposal.

 

You can then use this energy creatively, moving toward abundance and evolution.

 

In today’s meditation, we will look at the Law of Least Effort and how it can help us free our desires and intentions, directing them to the spiritual realm to create more abundance in our lives. ✨

Our mothers are our fundamental female archetype that we use to construct our personality (one of 2 core ones – 2nd one is the father). See your father, first of all, just as a man living his own, sometimes complicated life. Our fathers are our fundamental male archetypes that we use to construct our personality.  So, it is crucial to understand what belief systems you inherited and how these are now shaping up your life.

 

🌟 Read the following aloud to yourself in a mirror: I am deserving. I deserve all good. Not some, not a little bit, but all good. I now move past all negative, restricting thoughts. I release and let go of the limitations of my parents. I love them, and I go beyond them. I am not their negative opinions, nor their limiting beliefs. Day 13

 

Day 13 ✅ The Law of Detachment

 

Today we will learn how to abandon the desire to get a certain result as we let the Law of Detachment enter our lives.

 

Focus on what you desire, take the necessary steps to achieve your dreams, then let go of any attachment to the outcome, find security in the wisdom of uncertainty. Think of a time when you tried to remember a person’s name.

 

No matter how hard you tried, you could not remember it. You then let go of trying to remember it. A while later the name popped into your consciousness.

 

This is the law of detachment at work. Giving your intention to the universe, without attachment to the results, ultimately fulfills your desire. Today, put the law of attachment into practice.

Detach from all expectations of outcome and allow everyone and everything the freedom to be exactly as they are.

 

Abundance can take many forms. As long as what you create is driven by intentions / desires which benefit the world, you can get whatever you want.

 

Deepak’s friend and co-founder of the Chopra Center for Well-Being, Dr. David Simon, said: “Symbols of abundance: a big house, a new car or fancy jewelry will bring waves of excitement into your life. But this should not mean sacrificing the ocean for the sake of several transient waves. 🌟 Think of 5 times someone “way above you” or “out of your league”, someone you admired opened an opportunity to you that you did not understand you were perfectly qualified for, so you self-sabotaged or let someone else sabotage your opportunity. The universe wanted to give you abundance, but your own limiting beliefs pulled you out of step with lite’s rhythm.  Re-imagine each of those instances with you making a better decision that leads to a better outcome.

18 Day | Live in Oneness

 

In today’s meditation we will talk about unity as the underlying truth of all that exists.  As individuals, we are not always alike. We may have different lifestyles, different beliefs and perceptions.  However, these differences exist only in the physical realm, at the molecular and spiritual level we are all one and are connected with the primary universal source.  When we begin to fully understand this concept of life in unity, the idea of a personal “I” gives way to the image of a universal “I”.  The concept of rivalry disappears and collaboration becomes a natural replacement. This connection enables deep feelings of love and empathy to everyone and everything that surrounds us.

Today we are going to take the time to speak about love. Spiritual love can refer to a love rooted in a spiritual connection that helps us find meaning and purpose in our lives. These spiritual loves can serve different purposes : some are meant to walk with us through life, while others are meant to teach us lessons. Our mission today is to try to live love.

🎭 Parable: “This too shall pass.”

 

There was a king and he once said to his court sages – I have a ring with one of the finest diamonds in the world and I want to hide a message under the stone which can be useful in times of despair. I will give this ring to my heirs and I want it to serve them faithfully. Come up with a message to be inscribed under the diamond. It must be short to fit on the ring.

 

The sages knew how to write treatises but could not express themselves in one short sentence. They tried hard but couldn’t come up with anything.

 

The king complained about the failure of his venture to a faithful old servant who raised him from infancy and was part of the family. And the old man said to him:

 

“I’m not a sage, I’m not educated, but I know of such a message. During my many years spent in the palace I met a lot of people. Once, I served a visiting mystic whom your father invited and he passed me this message. Just don’t read it, put it under the stone inside the ring and read it only when there’s no way out at all.”

 

The king listened to the old servant.

 

After some time, the enemies attacked the country and the king lost the war. He fled on his horse and enemies pursued him. He was alone, there were many. He drove to the end of the road. There was a big cliff before him, if he fell there – that would be the end. He could not go back, as the enemies were approaching. He already heard the clatter of their horses’ hooves. He had no way out. He was in complete despair.

 

Then he remembered the ring. He opened it and under the stone found an inscription of three words: “This too shall pass.”

After reading the message he felt that everything went quiet. Apparently, the pursuers got lost and proceeded in the wrong direction. Horses were no longer heard.

 

The king was filled with gratitude to the servant and the unknown mystic. Words were powerful. He closed the ring and hit the road. Again, he gathered his army and conquered back his state.

 

On the day when he returned to the palace, they arranged a lavish welcoming for him – a feast for the whole country. People loved their king. The king was happy and proud.

 

The old servant came up to him and softly said: “Even this moment will pass. Look at the message again.”

 

“Now I am the winner. People are celebrating my return, I’m not in despair.”

 

“Listen to the old servant,” he answered, “it works not only in bad times but also in good.”

 

The king opened the ring and read: “This too shall pass.”

 

Again, he felt silence falling over him. Although he was in the midst of a noisy dancing crowd. Feelings of pride and entitlement disappeared. He understood the message. He was a wise man.

 

And then the old servant said: “Do you remember everything that happened to you? Nothing is permanent. No feeling stays. As night changes day, moments of joy and despair replace one another. Accept them as the nature of things, as part of life.”

Good morning and welcome to Day 20!

 

We are almost at the finish line. Amazing work, everyone!👏👏👏

 

Today, we look at the concept of luxury, adding to your life something that is much more significant than just necessities. This goes far beyond material luxury and should encompass everything that nurtures you.

 

When you feel that you are worthy of receiving all the blessings that the universe can offer you, your needs are satisfied easily and beyond expectations. As soon as you learn to accept the grace that has been sent to you, you will give the sign to the universe that you deserve only the best and are ready to receive it.
